About Me
I was born in Beijing, China, in 1987. When I was a kid, my mother often tell me stories at bedtime. These wonderful stories have been with me for many years. So when I went to university, I decided to choose screenwriting. By the time I graduated from university, I had chosen to be a professional editor. If I want to be a successful filmmaker, I needed more knowledge, it seemed to me that film editing was another way to express a story. So I continue studying and working at being the best editor I can be.
I love movies, especially American films. I bought many film DVDs and film toys. In my free time, I have watched thousands of films. There was one movie and one person who has influenced me deeply. When I was young, I really have liked dinosaurs, but I could only see the dinosaur pictures in a book or museum. The first time I saw Jurassic Park and saw the Dinosaurs on film I was so excited that I didn’t even remember the story line. I was so struck by this movie, and that made want to learn how to make films. I admire Steven Spielberg and how his films bring us in another world, a world full of wisdom and reason. Steven Spielberg is willing to give everything for movies. I deeply admire his courage and spirit of hard work and want to learn from it. My dream is to become a filmmaker, like Steven Spielberg. If he can do it, I think I can do it too.
